The Biopole Clermont-Limagne is a technopole (science technology park), fully dedicated to hosting and supporting businesses working in life sciences, spread over three sites located in Riom, Saint-Beauzire and Clermont-Ferrand. Within easy access to the A71 Paris bound motorway, the three closely located sites are within proximity of the international airport and major research centres of Clermont Ferrand and its urban area, well known for its excellence in biotechnology.

The Biopole Clermont-Limagne offers a comprehensive range of services to biotech entrepreneurs: qualified accommodation (over 20,000 m2 of up-to-the-minute laboratories for  biotech activities), along with support to projects, communication, coordination, access to partner networks, services to businesses and their workforce. Over 40 businesses and organisations are currently developing their activities on the Biopole site.

Since 2013, the Biopole Clermont-Limagne has been managed by the SMO Biopole Clermont-Limagne, the unrestricted public-sector association rounding up Clermont-Communauté, Riom Communauté, the Limagne d'Ennezat Community of Communes and the Puy-de-Dôme Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
