SMO Biopôle Clermont-Limagne – Unrestricted-Public-Sector Association

The SMO Biopôle Clermont-Limagne brings together the 2 local authorities involved in the sites of the Biopole Clermont-Limagne:

• Clermont Auvergne Métropole (Clermont-Ferrand site),
• Riom Limagne et Volcans (Saint-Beauzire and Riom sites),

as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Puy-de-Dôme Clermont Auvergne Métropole.

The SMO is in charge of the real estate assets and marketing.  It also takes care of the science park duties:  coordination, promotion and support to businesses.

The financing and governance of the Biopôle Clermont-Limagne are shared between the three members of the association.  They come together on a Committee which decides and settles the matters of the SMO through its deliberations.
