Limagrain Field Seeds (LFS), with its international multi-species LG brand, is Limagrain Group’s Field Seeds business line. Operating across all continents, LFS has subsidiaries in more than 40 countries and sells its products in 77 countries. Under the LG brand, LFS provides maize, wheat, sunflower, winter oilseed rape and other regionally adapted crop seeds to all farmers, whether small or large-scale. With a strong commitment to technological progress, varietal improvements developed across 84 research sites are continuously advanced and adapted to deliver maximum performance at the local level.

With a French agricultural cooperative based in the Limagne-Val d’Allier plain, in the heart of the Auvergne region, as its parent company, Limagrain is a global seed and agri-food group with more than 9,600 employees and operations in 53 countries. The world’s fourth-largest seed company, Limagrain generated €2.522 billion in revenue in 2023–2024, in addition to €729 million in revenue from activities carried out jointly with its strategic partners.
