Whether it involves R&amp;D for developing innovative solutions in plastics and composites, assisting in industrialization and process improvement, or reducing the environmental impact of products, IPC aims to ensure the competitiveness of businesses while promoting a more sustainable industry.<\/p>\n<p>In total, IPC employs 170 people across 5 specialized units, located in Oyonnax (plastic injection, recycling, design), Alen\u00e7on (biomaterials, extrusion), Laval (composite processes), Paris (standardization office), and at the Biop\u00f4le Clermont-Limagne in Saint-Beauzire.<\/p>\n<p>Present in our science park since 2017, IPC&#8217;s Clermont site specializes in plastic analysis, with particular expertise in food contact and packaging safety. This growing sector is generating an increasing demand, leading to greater needs for this team, which has previously rented space at the business incubator.<\/p>\n<p>IPC has therefore chosen to plan its real estate investments at the Biop\u00f4le Clermont-Limagne by constructing a 2500 m\u00b2 building designed to house 2000 m\u00b2 of laboratories and workshops. Equipped with new machinery\u2014given that the current equipment is saturated by demand\u2014the 19-person team will also expand, with plans to grow to around 40 employees within three years. The building, designed to be sustainable, will serve as a showcase for the center, and its modularity will also anticipate future developments.<\/p>\n<p>The construction work, scheduled to begin in the summer of 2025, is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2026.
