{"id":3835,"date":"2022-12-15T15:23:56","date_gmt":"2022-12-15T14:23:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.biopole-clermont.com\/?p=3835"},"modified":"2022-12-15T15:27:55","modified_gmt":"2022-12-15T14:27:55","slug":"intestinal-microbiota-valbiotis-research-signes-a-research-partnership-with-the-medis2-unit-from-the-clermont-auvergne-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.biopole-clermont.com\/en\/intestinal-microbiota-valbiotis-research-signes-a-research-partnership-with-the-medis2-unit-from-the-clermont-auvergne-university\/","title":{"rendered":"Intestinal microbiota: Valbiotis Research signes a research partnership with the MEDIS2 Unit from the Clermont Auvergne University."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Valbiotis, a Research and Development company committed to scientific innovation for preventing and\u00a0 combating\u00a0 metabolic\u00a0 and\u00a0 cardiovascular\u00a0 diseases,\u00a0 announces\u00a0 the\u00a0 signature\u00a0 of\u00a0 a\u00a0 research\u00a0 partnership\u00a0 in\u00a0 intestinal\u00a0 microbiota\u00a0 with\u00a0 the\u00a0 MEDIS2\u00a0 Unit\u00a0 from\u00a0 the\u00a0 Clermont\u00a0 Auvergne\u00a0 University\u00a0 on\u00a0 its active substances against dyslipidemia and metabolic liver disease.<\/p>\n<p>Led by a laboratory shared by the two entities, this collaboration will\u00a0 aim\u00a0 to\u00a0 develop\u00a0 a\u00a0 complete\u00a0 and\u00a0 dynamic\u00a0 human\u00a0 gastrointestinal\u00a0 model\u00a0 integrating the microbiota of the small intestine for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>This project is based on the in vitro digestive model led by the MEDIS Unit, a unique innovation in human digestion research while to approach cardiovascular and metabolic diseases from a digestive and intestinal perspective, with a particular focus on the intestinal microbiota is an innovative angle in line with Valbiotis research and development strategy.<\/p>\n<p>This work will make it possible to develop the world&#8217;s most complete model of the human upper digestive tract by 2024, integrating in particular the microbiota of the small intestine.
