VEGEPOLYS VALLEY is a competitiveness cluster gathering together firms, research and training centres in the plant field around some innovative projects to strengthen the firms’ competitiveness.<\/p>\n

VEGEPOLYS VALLEY, a world-class plant-focused competitiveness cluster, is established across four regions: Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, and Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes. It currently has 675 members. Since 2005, more than 1,300 projects, valued at 4 billion euros, have been supported. The cluster\u2019s backing has enabled 627 of these projects, worth 1.4 billion euros, to receive 640 million euros in public funding.<\/p>\n

The cluster fosters and supports the co-design of innovations aimed at competitive, high-quality plant production that is environmentally friendly and safeguards the health of both consumers and producers. It also encourages the development of both food and non-food uses of plants, enhancing quality, convenience, services, and naturalness.
Thus, the cluster supports innovation across the entire value chain, from upstream to downstream.<\/p>\n
